Major work has been carried out
by The Howe Partnership to the Cambridge University Library’s
sensitive Grade II listed building over the last 15 years. This has been in the
form of extensions and refurbishments which encompass a wide range
of activities requiring extensive expertise. These include:
seminar rooms; exhibition space; cafeteria ; bindery & conservation
workshops: printing workshop: digitisation and photographic workshops;
receptions; IT & digital resources areas; map department; book and archive
storage; and a variety of departmental offices.
