Opened in February 2005, by the Chairman of the Football Association and Vice-President of UEFE, Geoff Thompson,the new building brings together the administration and outreach needs of the Durham County Football Association in one location.

Whilst a modest scheme in size and budget, a simple palette of materials has been used to provide 350 sq m of adaptable office space around a central core providing clear and secure boundaries of public and private spaces.

The building provides Durham County Football Association with an organisational base for the 21st century and an environment in which to nurture the game at grass roots level.
