In Spring 2004, Sage moved to a new office complex in the Newcastle Great Park, northwest of the city adjacent to the A1.

Bill Hopper Design were commissioned at an early stage to design the £3.5 million fit out of the executive areas of the new building to house Sage Group plc, the parent company, and Sage UK together with the new main entrance and reception area, and the "Hive" suite of meeting rooms within the atrium of the building.
